HAZWOPER 40 Hour Course
40 Hour Hazwoper Course has been designed for, and is required to be taken by workers that will potentially be exposed to hazardous substances. This can include clean-up operations or operations involving hazardous wastes at facilities, and the storage, treatment, or disposal of hazardous substances, as well as emergency response operations. This course, which is taken entirely online, was built in accordance with OSHA 29 CFR 1910.120, the standard for Hazwoper regulations, and is continually updated to ensure relevance in today’s safety environment.
Please understand that with any Hazwoper 40 Hour training course, OSHA still requires (per 29 CFR 1910.120 (e)(3)(i)) that a student receive a minimum of 3 days actual field experience from their employer, under the direct supervision of a trained experienced supervisor. Each job site is unique, and can present different hazards and equipment requirements. That is why many of our students who select this Hazwoper 40 Hour online training, couple it with the site-specific field experience from their employer.
For those students who do not need, or are not required to take the full 40 Hour Hazwoper Course, we also offer the 24 Hour Hazwoper Course. And for those who have fulfilled their 40 Hour requirements and are looking to renew, we offer an 8 Hour Hazwoper Annual Refresher Course.
Course Components
We have developed a comprehensive 40 Hour Course that includes hazard identification, prevention, and remediation. The course is made up of 10 main units covering a variety of topics and is self-paced, fully narrated, and contains interactive exercises, video, and knowledge check quizzes along the way.
Instructor Access
In addition to this, the student will also have access to a course instructor via email. Any question a student has about the material covered throughout the course can be emailed directly to questions@etraintoday.com and an instructor response is guaranteed within 24 hours.
Downloadable Course Manual
As part of the training, the student will also have access to a downloadable, 400 page PDF manual covering the complete Hazardous waste standard. This can be very useful if you’d like to explore a specific topic in more detail, for future reference, and to ensure the material is always close at hand.
Personalized Certificate and ID Card
Upon completion, the student will receive a laminated ID card and personalized certificate showing proof of completion. The ID card will be mailed out to the student within 3 days of passing the final exam, and the certificate can be printed immediately from your computer.
